Fr. Nelson Orqueta.</p><p>In his homily he said that &quot;The Pope never claimed to be perfect, but he pointed us to the one that is perfect, which is Jesus.&quot;</p><p>&quot;Paulit-ulit niya [Pope Francis] sinasabi na God never tires of forgiving,&quot; he added.</p><p>Fr. Orqueta described the Pope as someone who dedicated his whole Papacy to helping the poor, the weary, the sick, and the marginalized.</p><p>Aside from a special mass, a standee of the Pope was also displayed at the entrance of the church, and candles were also offered in prayer for the eternal repose of his soul.</p>
