MANILA — The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) on Wednesday said they have yet to receive any official report or request for assistance on the supposed disappearance of actress Karen Lopez.

"Sa kasalukuyan, wala pa pong pormal na ulat o reklamo na naihain sa alinmang himpilan ng pulisya ng QCPD mula sa pamilya o kaanak ng nasabing indibidwal," the police office said.

(At present, no formal report or complaint has been filed at the QCPD by her family)

The police urged Lopez's family or anyone who has information regarding her alleged disappearance to report to their offices.

"Ang inyong pakikiisa ay mahalaga upang mapabilis ang imbestigasyon at matulungan namin pamilya sa pagtunton sa naturang aktres," they said.

(Your cooperation will be helpful in the investigation and will help the family find the actress)

The QCPD said their Police Station 10 has interviewed the personal assistant of the actress and already checked the CCTV footage in areas where she was last seen.

The QCPD's statement comes amid reports, mostly on social media, that Lopez and her boyfriend were last seen in Quezon City on May 5.

According to the Internet Movie Database, Lopez appeared in the 2025 movie "Habal".
