Camille Villar was officially proclaimed a senator-elect by the National Board of Canvassers on Saturday, May 17.</p><p>“I stand here incredibly honored and humbled by this opportunity. I&#x27;m grateful to God that we had a peaceful elections with a very good results. And today with all humility, tinatanggap ko po ang responsibilidad na ito at karangalang ito,&quot; she said tearfully.</p><p>Villar nabbed the 10th spot in the final rankings of the senatorial race, garnering 13,651,274 votes.</p><p>This will be her first time to serve on the Senate after two terms as Las Piñas&#x27; solon in the House of Representatives from 2019 to 2022.</p><p>She will be sharing the Senate plenary with her brother, Sen. Mark Villar. Her mother, Sen.
