MANILA — Re-electionist Pia Cayetano vowed to amplify the voice of the Filipinos after being proclaimed by the National Board of Canvassers.

"I look forward to engaging with you in healthy and heartfelt debates, to argue with you and sometimes to fight with you… pero hihimayin natin isa-isa ang mga batas na hinaharap natin sa mga kababayan natin because they deserve no less than people with different points of views with different background to argue their points, to find the best solution and not to compromise, but to find the very best that the Filipino deserves," she said in her proclamation speech.

Cayetano also said she is looking forward to mentoring Camille Villar as she hopes to "give back" in her fourth term in the Senate.

"I know it's now my time to give back, not only to lead by example but to uphold and conduct myself in a manner becoming of a senator, but also to mentor the young. So I look around and sino ba 'yung newly-elected and young dito. Walang iba kun'di si Camille Villar," said Cayetano.

Cayetano placed ninth in the final rankings of the senatorial race, garnering 14,573,430 votes.

This will be her second consecutive term as senator after she was elected back in 2019, although Cayetano already held the senatorial position for two consecutive terms back in 2004 to 2016.
