MANILA — Commission on Elections (Comelec) chairman George Garcia on Wednesday refuted allegations online that about 17 million voters in the recently concluded midterm polls "overvoted."

According to Garcia, this number translates to just about 2 percent of the 57 million voters who actually voted for senators or part of the 82.20 percent voter turnout.
