<p>MANILA — The family of a 10-year-old boy who died after undergoing circumcision said they were open to a re-autopsy, pending the results of an initial examination.</p><p>Operatives from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) visited the wake of the child on Thursday and requested the family&#x27;s consent for a second autopsy.</p><p>However, Marjorie San Agustin, the boy’s mother, said they were choosing to wait for the results of the autopsy conducted by the Manila Police District on Sunday, May 18.</p><p>“Balak ko po sana na antayin ko na lang po muna ‘yung result ng autopsy. Tapos kung may makita kami na parang kahina-hinala, ipapare-autospy ko na lang po muna ulit,” San Agustin said.</p><p>“Gusto ko na makuha talaga ang hustisya ng anak ko, na makulong po talaga ‘yung may kasalanan.”</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/health-science/2025/5/22/nagtuli-sa-batang-namatay-sa-tondo-isang-di-lisensyadong-doktor-1143">Nagtuli sa batang namatay sa Tondo, di lisensyadong doktor</a></div><p>The family also decided to delay the boy’s burial until the autopsy results are released, hoping it will help establish the facts and ensure justice is served.</p><p>San Agustin revealed her heartbreak upon learning that the individual who performed the procedure was not a licensed doctor and suspects medical negligence played a role in her son&#x27;s death.</p><p>“Sobrang sakit po talaga sakin na bakit ‘yung anak ko, doon ko nadala? Bakit hindi ko alam na hindi pala doctor ‘yun,” she said.</p><p>“Hindi ko matanggap ‘yung ginawa niya sa anak ko. Ilalaban ko ‘yung kaso kasi parang siya kumitil sa anak ko.
