ABS-CBN News </em></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA — The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) is still assessing the damage to its ship that a Chinese vessel used a water cannon on and sideswiped this week.</p><p>In a Saturday news forum, BFAR spokesperson Nazario Briguera said the China Coast Guard damaged BRP Datu Sanday’s port bow and smokestack.</p><p>“[I]t would entail thousands of pesos ‘yung sa danyos. Yung mga barko natin hindi naman basta basta ang materials, thousands or maybe a million pesos,” said Briguera.</p><p>(The damage could be in thousands of pesos.
