MANILA — President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. on Tuesday downplayed a survey that showed more Filipinos trusted the Dutertes compared to him.

The latest Pulse Asia survey showed that 32 percent of Filipinos trust Marcos, which is lower than the 50 percent and 63 percent trust ratings garnered by Vice President Sara Duterte and former President Rodrigo Duterte, respectively.

“Madaming ibang survey. Let’s not base it on one,” Marcos said.

He also called on the public to know the source of information.

“Well, again, let's look at other surveys before we… Know your source... Imperfect information makes you make imperfect decisions. The more perfect your information, the more perfect your decision will be,” he said.

“That is one source of information, and you have to understand where it's actually coming from," he added.

Marcos earlier said he was open to reconcile with the Duterte family following their falling out last year.
