MANILA — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Thursday clarified that former Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque only has one active passport.

The DFA said Roque's latest passport was issued in 2024, and is valid until July 2034.

"The DFA can confirm that Mr. Harry Roque holds only one valid regular Philippine passport. All other previously issued under his name have been duly cancelled in accordance with existing rules and regulations," the DFA said.

Meanwhile, his diplomatic passport issued during the Duterte administration expired in December 2022.

Roque had also denied using more than one passport.

The DFA issued the clarification after Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla claimed Roque had three Philippine passports.

Roque is facing qualified and regular human trafficking cases before the Angeles City RTC in connection with his alleged involvement with an illegal POGO.
