<p>MANILA — Para sa mga Pilipinong nagpa-plano ng kanilang international travel, paano nga ba makakuha ng passport mula sa Department of Foreign Affairs?</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2025/1/9/ph-is-75th-most-powerful-passport-in-the-world-global-index-1132">Philippine passport is 75th most powerful in the world: global index</a></div><p>Ayon sa opisyal na website ng DFA, ang lahat ng &quot;New Passport Application&quot; ay nagsisimula sa pamamagitan ng pag-apply sa kanilang <a href="https://passport.gov.ph/">online appointment system. </a></p><p>Makikita rito ang listahan ng iba&#x27;t ibang pangunahin at satellite branches o offices na pinakamalapit sa bawat lugar. Maaaring pumili rito ng petsa at oras na nais ma-iskyedul. </p><p>Pagkatapos makakuha ng confirmed appointment date, kailangan ihanda ang mga sumusunod na dokumento: </p><ul><li>Printed and accomplished application form</li><li>Original Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Live Birth Certificate, </li><li>Isang valid ID (original at isang photocopy)</li><li><br/></li></ul><div><strong>ANO ANG MGA ID NA MAARING GAMITIN?</strong> </div><p>Ayon sa Office of Consular Affairs ng DFA, tatanggapin ang mga sumusunod na ID:</p><ul><li>Philippine Identification (PhilID) </li><li>Electronic Philippine ID </li><li>Digital National ID (printed copy)</li><li>Social Security System (SSS) Card</li><li>Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) Card</li><li>Unified Multi-Purpose Identification (UMID) Card</li><li>Land Transportation Office Driver’s License</li><li>Bangsamoro Land Transportation Office issued Driver’s License</li><li>Professional Regulatory Commission ID</li><li>Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) E-Card</li><li>Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Voter’s ID or Voter’s Certificate mula sa COMELEC main office</li><li>Philippine National Police (PNP) Permit to Carry Firearms Outside Residence</li><li>Senior Citizen ID</li><li>Airman License (issued August 2016 onwards)</li><li>Philippine Postal ID</li><li>Seafarer’s Record Book (SRB) or Seafarers Identity Document (SID) issued by the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA)</li></ul><div><br/></div><p>Maari ring gamitin ang school ID ng mga aplikante na menor de edad o kaya Certificate of Enrolment na may kasamang photo kung walang School ID.</p><p>Ang mga estudyante na nasa 18 pataas ay maaring gumamit ng School ID na may kasamang Certificate of Registration.</p><div><strong>USAPING BIRTH CERTIFICATE</strong></div><p>Para naman sa mga kababaihan na ginagamit ang apelyido ng kanilang asawa, kailangan magdala ng parehong original at photocopy ng PSA Authenticated Marriage Contract o Report of Marriage. </p><p>Kailangan naman magdala ng kopya ng record of birth mula sa Local Civil Registrar kung ang PSA Birth Certificate ng aplikante ay malabo o mahirap basahin. </p><p>Ang aplikante na mag-aapply ay kailangang personal na magpunta sa pinili niyang appointment date. </p><p>Para sa mga menor de edad na aplikante, hindi na nangangailangan ng online appointment kung siya ay edad 7 o pababa. Kailangan may kasamang magulang o &#x27;authorized adult&#x27; kung ang aplikante ay menor de edad. </p><p>Maaaring hanapin ang mga dagdag na dokumento gaya ng: </p><ul><li>Marriage Certificate ng mga magulang); </li><li>Affidavit of Support and/or Consent mula sa ina (Kung hindi ito kasama), </li><li>Affidavit of Support and/or Consent na authenticated ng Philippine Embassy or Consulate (Kung ang ina ay mula sa abroad)</li><li>Passport or Valid Government issued ID (original at photocopy) ng isa sa dalawang magulang</li></ul><div><br/></div><p>Mayroon ding supporting documents na maaaring hingin para sa mga iba&#x27;t ibang uri ng aplikante, makikita ang updated na listahan ng mga dagdag na requirements dito: <a href="https://consular.dfa.gov.ph/passport-requirements-page/">DFA Consular website.</a></p><p>Makikita sa kanilang opisyal na website ang mga detalye at anunsyo para naman sa renewal, releasing, at certification ng mga passport. </p><p>Para sa mga katanungan tungkol sa sistema ng online appointment, maaaring makipag-ugnayan sa 8-234-3288 at para sa mga concern tungkol sa passport, authentication, at mga consular services, maaaring tumawag sa 8-651-9400.</p>
