<p>MANILA — Batangas 2nd District Rep. Gerville “Jinky Bitrics” Luistro, who is seeking re-election, is facing multiple complaints filed before the Office of the Ombudsman by an anonymous complainant.</p><p>The complaint called for an immediate investigation into Luistro for alleged graft, vote-buying, premature campaigning, and misuse of government funds.</p><p>Luistro, however, remained unfazed and insisted that the cases filed against her are weak and bound to be dismissed.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/5/2/comelec-expect-more-disqualification-cases-show-cause-orders-1647">Comelec: Expect more disqualification cases, show-cause orders</a></div><p>“Chill lang, relax lang, kayang-kayang kaya ni Britics yan,” Luistro said in an interview with ABS-CBN News during a campaign sortie in Barangay Padre Castillo, San Pascual, Batangas.</p><p>“Totally unfounded, walang  detalye, walang ebidensya ,parang chopsuey pinaghalo-halo sa iisang sangkap na lamang, that warrant outright dismissal,” she added.</p><p>According to the complaint, Luistro allegedly took advantage of government assistance programs such as the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS), Ayuda sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP), Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD), and the distribution of national scholarships to push her political ambitions for 2025.</p><p>It also claimed that in several instances, while distributing these forms of assistance, tarpaulins bearing Luistro’s name and image were prominently displayed.</p><p>The complaint further stated that Luistro did this during the official campaign period, during which politicians are strictly prohibited from participating in aid distribution, as mandated by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).</p><p>It added that all these incidents are documented by verified social media accounts linked to Luistro’s official Facebook page.</p><p>Luistro, however, maintained that she is complying with the law.</p><p>“I did not violate any provision of the election code,” she said.</p><p>She also denied using government aid to buy votes.</p><p>“Ito pong mga ayudang ito long before the campaign  period  ay iniimplement nationwide, I appreciated it so much sapagkat malaki ang naitutulong sa ating mga kababayan, and I hope hindi ito nabibigyan ng kulay dahil ito po ang kailangang-kailangan  ng ating mga kababayan,” Luistro said.</p><p>Luistro is running against former Rep.
