MANILA -- A lawyer involved in pursuing the case against former president Rodrigo Duterte before the International Criminal Court hopes that the move of the defense to disqualify two judges will be resolved soon.

Pero pinapa-disqualify niyo ‘yung 2 out of 3 judges?’ Ano ba talaga, gusto niyo bang pag-usapan o hindi?” she added.

Conti explained that the ICC Plenary of Judges will decide on the matter which they expect within the next two weeks.

When asked about the reaction of the families of war on drugs victims, Conti said they expected the "tactics" of the Duterte camp.

At iniimbitahan namin ang kung sinuman natin sa tingin nila apektado o biktima ng war on drugs. Sa ngayon, 'yun po munang mga namatay or namatayan ay pwedeng lumapit sa ICC para ilabas ang kanilang hinaing,” she said.
