Maria Tan, ABS-CBN News/File </span></span></span></div><p>DAVAO CITY — Vice President Sara Duterte on Monday said she sees “no problem” with the use or sharing of artificial intelligence-produced videos that seek to support her, provided that these are not being used as a business model.</p><p>Duterte gave the statement after her brother Davao City Mayor Sebastian Duterte, and her ally Sen. Ronald Dela Rosa were criticized for sharing an AI-video showing young Filipinos speaking against the Vice President’s impeachment.</p><p>“Wala namang problema siguro sa pagshare ng AI video in support sa akin basta hindi ginagawang negosyo,” the Vice President said in a press conference here.</p><p>“If gagawa ako ng AI to support a certain personality, walang problema doon kasi hindi ko naman siya ginagawang negosyo. Hindi ko naman siya binebenta sa mga tao,” she said.</p><p>Malacañang earlier slammed Dela Rosa and Mayor Duterte for sharing the inauthentic video, saying that is a form of peddling false information.</p><p>“Ang pagsha-share ng mga katulad niyan — muli disinformation, fake news — hindi po sana nanggagaling sa mga opisyal ng pamahalaan,” said Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/6/16/palace-urges-bato-acknowledge-use-of-ai-video-1429">Palace urges Bato: Acknowledge use of AI video</a></div><p>“Nakakaduda, mas nakakawala ng tiwala kung mismong sa matataas na opisyal nanggagaling ang mga disinformation at fake news,” she said.</p><p>Meanwhile, Vice President Duterte slammed marketing firm Comm&amp;Sense Inc after a report from OpenAI showed that the company has been using artificial intelligence to create social media posts and comments criticizing the second-in-command. </p><p>&quot;Actually, hindi lang &#x27;yun kay Tanco no ang kumpanya na nagpapatakbo ng programs na anti-Sara Duterte online. Anti-Duterte online. Mayroon pang mga ibang kompanya na alam namin na ganun &#x27;yung ginagawa nila at alam din namin na bayad sila.
