MANILA — The MRT-3 briefly paused its operations on Tuesday morning due to a “burning wire.”
The MRT-3 management said the burning wire was “reported at a post in between the stations of Cubao and Santolan Southbound” at around 7:36 a.m.
“As a safety precaution, all trains were instructed to stop at their nearest station platforms,” it said.
At around 8 a.m., the MRT-3 management said the maintenance team was “already on site for assessment and necessary intervention.”

The MRT-3 later said “all trains have resumed movement at around 8:13 a.m.”
