MANILA — The Commission on Elections, sitting as the National Board of Canvassers (NBOC), finally proclaimed on Friday the Bagong Henerasyon (BH) party-list, weeks after the poll body dismissed the disqualification petition filed against the group.

In a message, Bagong Henerasyon Rep. Bernadette Herrera-Dy said they never doubted that they would be proclaimed as she called the petition against her group “simply a harassment case of someone who wanted to delay our proclamation."

The Comelec First Division earlier dismissed the petition to disqualify the BH party-list in the 2025 midterm polls because the petitioner failed to comply with the requirement to personally serve a copy of the petition on Baghong Henerasyon.
