MANILA (UPDATED) - Whistleblower &quot;Totoy&quot; stands by his allegation that businessman Charlie &quot;Atong&quot; Ang is behind the disappearance of a number of cockfighting enthusiasts, or sabungeros, between 2021 and 2022.In a one-on-one interview with ABS-CBN News, Totoy claimed to have intimate knowledge of Ang’s activities, including criminal acts, having been his farm manager and trusted aide for many years.&quot;Ako ang pinagkakatiwalaan niya sa lahat ng bagay at isa akong farm manager sa lahat ng farm ni Mr. Atong Ang. 15 years mahigit kami (nagkatrabaho ni Atong) matagal na ako sa kanya. Pero hindi ko tinanggap,&quot; he said.<div>ATONG ANG DENIES CLAIMS, APPEALS TO PUBLIC</div>Atong Ang is set to file a formal complaint against whistleblowers who tagged him in the case of the missing cockfight enthusiasts on July 3, Thursday. &quot;The accusations against Atong Ang are entirely false, baseless, and malicious. He categorically and unequivocally denies any involvement in the alleged unlawful, heinous, and criminal acts that have recently been reported and linked to him,&quot; said a statement from his legal team.Ang&#x27;s camp likewise appeals to the public and the media to &quot;refrain from spreading misinformation or drawing conclusions without evidence.&quot;The Philippine National Police–Internal Affairs Service (PNP-IAS) earlier said it cannot move forward with a substantial administrative investigation into the missing sabungeros (cockfight enthusiasts) case without a sworn affidavit from the key witness.&quot;Totoy,&quot; however, said that he is just finalizing some details in his sworn affidavit and he will be filing it in the coming days.
