Mark Demayo, ABS-CBN News </div><div> </div>MANILA — Classes in all levels are suspended on July 25 in Metro Manila and other provinces due to typhoon Emong, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) said. The DILG said classes were suspended in the following areas on Friday. Areas under red warning, where 200mm of rainfall is expected Ilocos Sur La Union Benguet Pangasinan Zambales Bataan Occidental Mindoro Areas under orange warning, where 150–200mm of rainfall is expected  Ilocos Norte Abra Mountain Province Ifugao Tarlac Pampanga Cavite Laguna Batangas Areas under yellow warning, where 50–150mm of rainfall is expected   Apayao Cagayan Kalinga Isabela Quirino Nueva Vizcaya Aurora Nueva Ecija Bulacan Metro Manila Rizal Quezon Camarines Sur Camarines Norte Albay Marinduque Romblon Oriental Mindoro Palawan&quot;Ang lahat ng antas ng mag-aaral ay kasama, pati na ang TESDA learners,&quot; the DILG said. Citing a recommendation from the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), Malacanang also released a memorandum circular declaring class suspension at all levels in aforementioned areas and in Babuyan Group of Islands.The Palace said those who are responsible for emergency, health, and vital services must remain operational to ensure continuity of government functions.State weather bureau PAGASA said Emong is maintaining its strength and is nearing landfall over Western Pangasinan.The typhoon is forecast to accelerate eastward then northeastward Thursday night.
