Capitol PIO via Barbara Mijares</span></span></span></div><div><br/></div><p>MANILA — The remains of Negrense caregiver Leah Mosquera arrived in the province early this morning Thursday, over a week after she passed away in Israel. </p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/7/13/pinay-caregiver-in-israel-dies-due-to-injuries-sustained-in-irans-missile-attack-1851">Pinay caregiver in Israel dies due to injuries sustained in Iran&#x27;s missile attack</a></div><p>Mosquera died in Israel on July 13 due to injuries she suffered when an Iranian missile hit their flat at the height of the war. </p><p>Mae Joy Mosquera, sister of Leah who is also working as a caregiver in Israel, accompanied the return of her cadaver. </p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/6/18/pinoy-caregiver-sa-israel-kinailangan-tumakbo-sa-bomb-shelter-1610">Pinoy caregiver sa Israel, kinailangan tumakbo sa pinakamalapit na bomb shelter</a></div><p>Relatives along with local officials and representatives from the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration and the Department of Migrant Workers were among those present at the Bacolod Silay Airport this morning. </p><p>Mae Joy said her sister sustained severe injuries when a missile hit the place where they were staying last June 15.
