President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. leads the launch and ceremonial turnover of the World Bank Group’s Philippines Country Partnership Framework (CPF) for Fiscal Years 2026–2031 at Kalayaan Hall, Malacañan Palace, on July 29, 2025. 

The CPF serves as a strategic roadmap for the World Bank Group’s engagement in the Philippines, focusing on investments in health, education, job creation, digitization, and resilience. It aligns with national development goals by addressing urgent needs and aiming to improve the quality of life for Filipinos through strengthened capabilities and economic stability. The program supports eight out of 15 key outcome areas, including poverty protection, learning, health, environmental sustainability, connectivity, and private sector growth. It also tackles global challenges such as climate change, energy access, and digital transformation.
