Jesus Manuel “Bong” Suntay pointed out floodwaters flow through various cities.</p><p>“‘Yung tubig na dumadaan sa Quezon City hindi naman naiiwan lang sa Quezon City. Dumadaloy rin ‘yan papunta sa San Juan. Pumupunta rin papuntang Pasig. Pumupunta ng Maynila. So everything has to be integrated. So how do you coordinate all these projects or programs or are they even coordinated with each other?” Suntay asked during the briefing on Wednesday, August 13.</p><p>“May close coordination naman po kami sa LGUs at ganoon din po sa DPWH to make sure na walang duplication, walang conflict ‘yung aming proyekto,” MMDA Chairperson Don Artes replied.</p><p>Meanwhile, Marikina 2nd District Rep. Chel Diokno said such “attacks” should no longer be a topic of discussion.</p><p>For the lawmaker, other matters such as existence of “ghost” flood control projects and other such anomalies should be given attention instead.</p><p>“‘Wag na natin pag-usapan ‘yung mga atakeng ganyan. Ang pag-usapan natin, ano ba ‘yung facts? Sino ba ‘yung involved sa mga flood control projects?
