<p>MANILA (<strong>UPDATED</strong>) — The Senate Blue Ribbon Committee will subpoena 8 of the 15 invited flood control contractors who did not show up during the investigation on Tuesday.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/8/19/senate-to-kick-off-probe-into-flood-control-projects-0951">Senate kicks off probe into flood control projects</a></div><p>During the hearing, it was revealed that 11 responded to the invitation but only 7 were represented in the hearing.</p><p>Sen. Ronald dela Rosa moved for the issuance of the subpoena for those who are absent. Sen.
