MANILA (UPDATED) -- The Commission on Elections (Comelec) will postpone the printing of official ballots for the Bangsamoro Parliamentary Elections, the agency announced on Wednesday night. The announcement came after the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) approved Parliament Bill No. 351, redistributing the seats earlier allocated to Sulu. Garcia noted that although this was not officially signed by the Chief Minister, there will be an implication on the ballots.&quot;Mukhang may implikasyon po ito doon sa mismong mukha ng balota dahil baka magbago &#x27;yung mga kandidato na mga na-andon sa magiging mukha ng balota na kinakailangan naka-print &#x27;yung pictures at &#x27;yung logo ng mga political parties,&quot; he said in an exclusive interview with DZMM Teleradyo.Sulu had rejected the Bangsamoro Organic Law in the 2019 plebiscite.Comelec said the scheduled printing of official ballots will be moved &quot;to a later date&quot; as the commission studies the implications of BTA&#x27;s bill. &quot;Wala. Baka kasi masayang ang balota na ma-print,&quot; Garcia told reporters when asked if any other printing will still happen tomorrow in relation to the October polls.Comelec was supposed to print the official ballots for Basilan and Tawi-Tawi tomorrow at the National Printing Office.
