<p>MANILA — Sen. Christopher “Bong” Go on Monday said he had &quot;nothing to do&quot; with the business partnership involving his father&#x27;s firm and infrastructure contractors <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/9/1/yumaman-sa-dpwh-discaya-says-viral-video-spliced-1059">Sarah and Curlee Discaya.</a></p><p>“I assure the public that I have nothing to do with these transactions and I remain firm in my commitment to transparent and public service,” Go said during a Senate hearing.</p><p><a href="https://www.rappler.com/newsbreak/in-depth/firm-owned-bong-go-kin-once-worked-discayas-davao-projects/">Rappler reported</a> earlier Monday that CLTG Builders, owned by Go’s father Deciderio, had partnered with the Discayas’ St. Gerrard Construction General Contractor and Development Corporation for five infrastructure projects in the Davao region, amounting to over P816 million in 2017.</p><p>The elder Go reportedly represented the two firms and signed contracts  with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) as “Authorized Managing Officer.” The projects were for road construction and had been completed, the report said.  </p><p>Sen. Go serves as vice chairperson of the Senate blue ribbon committee, which on Monday continued its probe into allegedly anomalous flood control projects, including those secured by the Discayas&#x27; firms.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/9/1/coa-to-file-charges-against-dpwh-officials-contractors-over-ghost-flood-projects-1209">COA to file raps vs DPWH officials, contractors over &#x27;ghost&#x27; flood projects &#x27;this month&#x27;</a></div><p>“If meron pong deficiency at mayroon silang pagkukulang, ako mismo ang magrerekomenda sa komiteng ito na kasuhan sila kahit kamag-anak ko,” said Go.</p><p>&quot;Kahit involved sa anumang pagkakamali, kasuhan niyo po sila.
