Maria Tan, ABS-CBN News</span></span></span>MANILA — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Friday said it will continue to recognize authorized peaceful assemblies but will enforce the law against any violations committed during protest actions.</div><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/9/4/protesters-hurl-mud-mark-magnanakaw-on-discaya-compound-in-pasig-1247">Protesters throw mud, write &#x27;magnanakaw&#x27; on Discaya compound in Pasig</a></div><p>PNP Public Information Office chief Brig. Gen.
