Photo courtesy of Mark Arjay Reyes<br/></span></span></span></div><div><br/></div><p>MANILA — The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) on Wednesday said it has ceased its investigation into the sensational disappearance of bride-to-be Sherra de Juan, who went missing for nearly three weeks last December.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/12/29/missing-bride-to-be-found-in-ilocos-1456">Missing bride-to-be found in Pangasinan</a></div><p>QCPD spokesperson Maj. Jennifer Gannaban told ABS-CBN News the case has been closed for now but may be reopened should De Juan or her family file a formal complaint.</p><p>Although De Juan’s disappearance has yet to be clarified—particularly what happened to her or how she ended up in Pangasinan—no complaint has been filed by her camp, making the matter private, according to Gannaban.</p><p>In a separate text message, QCPD Director Col. Randy Glenn Sylvio said police are allowing De Juan time to rest and recover and that she will be invited to give a statement.</p><p>Until then, authorities said it remains unclear whether De Juan left on her own or was taken by force, pending an interview with her.</p><p>De Juan went missing on December 10, just days before her scheduled wedding to her boyfriend of 10 years on December 14.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/12/14/bride-to-be-in-quezon-city-goes-missing-four-days-before-wedding-1952">Bride-to-be in Quezon City goes missing four days before wedding</a></div><p>Her fiancé, Mark Arjay Reyes, earlier said he received a message from De Juan on December 10 saying she was going to the mall to buy the shoes she planned to wear for the wedding, but she did not return. She also left her cellphone at home, charging.</p><p>The bride-to-be was later spotted by a concerned citizen on December 29, walking and appearing disoriented in Sison, Pangasinan.
