<div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:960px;display:block" width="960"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1771717170619HBrXNiHaIAAny6b.jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/><span class="fr-inner" spellcheck="false" style="text-align:left">Thousands gather at the Quezon Memorial Circle for the People Power 40 Kick-Off Concert on Saturday, February 21. <em>Darylle Sarmiento, ABS-CBN News</em></span></span></span>MANILA — Thousands showed relentless support and energy at the Quezon Memorial Circle on Saturday, February 21, as crowds gathered for Awit at Aksyon Kontra Korapsyon, a kickoff concert commemorating the 40th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution.</div><p>Show-stopping performances from Ebe Dancel, Amiel Sol, Nica del Rosario, Ogie Alcasid, Janno Gibbs, and many more kept the crowd hyped throughout the evening.</p><p>Stand-up comedian Alex Calleja, actress Iza Calzado, and other artists also contributed their time and graced the event in support of the cause.</p><p>Individuals of all ages attended the event, uniting for a night of music and advocacy.</p><p>Ferdinand Sanchez, an attendee holding a placard that read “Tayo ang People Power,” vowed to continue fighting for the nation and ensuring that voices are heard.</p><p>He emphasized that no Filipino should ever forget the lessons of history.</p><p>“Ito ay matapang na pagkilala sa pagkilos ng mga mamayan at bilang mga kabataan hindi natin binubura ang kasaysayan.
