MAYNILA — Arestado ng mga awtoridad ang isang 34-anyos na lalaki noong February 14 sa Barangay Santa Teresita, Quezon City, dahil sa kasong pangmomolestya sa isang menor de edad noong 2020.Ayon kay PLt. Col. Jose Luis Aguirre, Commander ng La Loma Police Station, nahuli ang akusado matapos ang ilang taon nitong pagtatago. Nahaharap ang akusado sa paglabag sa RA 7610 o ang Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.Ayon kay PLt. Col. Aguirre, nangyari ang pangmomolestya noong January 2020 sa loob mismo ng bahay ng biktima.“Lumalabas sa aming imbestigasyon na yung suspek eh pinasok niya yung biktima sa loob ng bahay nila at doon po siya namolestiya. Yung biktima naman hindi makasigaw dahil tine-threaten siya nitong suspek… nagsumbong siya sa magulang niya particularly sa nanay niya at doon na naisampa yung kaso,” paliwanag ni Aguirre.Inilabas ang warrant of arrest laban sa lalaki noong Disyembre 2025.“Nang malabasan po siya ng warrant eh hindi na siya makita doon at mga operatiba natin hinanap siya buti na lang may nagtip na concerned citizen at doon na po siya nahuli,” dagdag ng hepe.Tumanggi namang magbigay ng pahayag ang suspek: “No comment na lang ako dyan.”Kasalukuyan nang nakapiit ang lalaki sa custodial facility ng La Loma Police Station.
