Courtesy of PNP-ACG via Karen De Guzman, ABS-CBN News</span></span></span></div><div><br/></div><p>MANILA — A foreign national was arrested in Nasugbu, Batangas for allegedly facilitating a cybersex den and exploiting young Filipino women through online platforms, the Philippine National Police–Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG) said.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/11/3/lgus-reminded-on-ordinances-protecting-children-from-online-sexual-abuse-exploitation-1613">LGUs reminded on ordinances protecting children from online sexual abuse, exploitation</a></div><p>The arrest stemmed from a complaint filed by a 21-year-old woman who sought police assistance after she was allegedly subjected to online sexual exploitation.</p><p>According to the victim, she met the suspect through an online dating app, where he introduced himself and later offered her a job as a “model,” promising potential earnings of up to P100,000 per month.</p><p>PNP-ACG Acting Director Brig. Gen. Wilson Asueta said the suspect used emotional manipulation to lure victims into meeting him in person.</p><p>“Kapag nahulog ang loob, ito ay iimbitahan niya mag-meet up at bibigyan niya na rin ng offer ng trabaho bilang model. So kahit wala nang screening, hangga’t mapa-oo ang ating mga kababaihan, namamindset na sila,” Asueta explained.</p><p>The victim-complainant was later brought to Nasugbu, where she was allegedly forced to perform sexual acts and coerced into conducting regular live-streamed sexual performances for paying viewers online.</p><p>She also revealed that the suspect recruited other women and compelled them to engage in similar activities.</p><p>Victims who attempted to escape or seek help were allegedly threatened, while the suspect reportedly claimed they were his romantic partners when questioned by authorities.</p><p>“We consider them as illegally detained kasi hindi sila makalabas at tinatakot sila. Nagkaroon ng manipulation kaya stay-in lang sila. Mabuti na lang ‘yung isa ay nakatakas at nag-report sa ating himpilan,” Asueta said.</p><p>Operatives of the Southern District Anti-Cybercrime Team (SDACT) conducted a police operation through the implementation of a Warrant to Search, Seize, and Examine Computer Data (WSSECD), leading to the suspect’s arrest.</p><p>Authorities also rescued seven female victims aged 18 to 20 years old during the operation.</p><p>The suspect is facing charges for violation of the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003, in relation to the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.</p><p>“Hindi tayo pumapayag na lapastanganin ang ating mga kababaihan ng mga dayuhan na narito sa Pilipinas, lalo na sa pang-aabuso sa pamamagitan ng online.
