Nagpaalam na ho si Justice Andy Reyes sa technical working group at nagbigay ng report sa amin,” Paraiso said in an interview with state-run media PTV Wednesday, March 18. The group convened for a meeting in its headquarters at Taguig City on Tuesday, March 17.“Kami naman ho ay malaki ho ang pasasalamat namin kay Justice Andy Reyes, kay Commissioner Babes Singson, kay Commissioner Fajardo, kay ED Brian, kay General Azurin dahil iyong paggabay nila sa amin sa paggawa nito,” he added. Paraiso noted that Reyes himself reported to the technical working group that the whole-of-government efforts yielded around P24.8 billion of ‘frozen’ and ‘recovered’ assets.“Ngayon talaga nakita namin iyong effort namin na nagbunga talaga kasi nagsama-sama lahat ng government agencies at kahapon nakita natin iyong tally it’s around 24.8 billion [pesos] na mga assets frozen at saka assets recovered noong TWG nito na iyon iyong ni-report sa atin ni Justice Andy Reyes,” he said.“Ako personally, I am proud to be part of that particular group na may nagawa ho talaga tayo para sa ating mga kababayan, something concrete na maipagmamalaki natin,” Paraiso added.
