Courtesy of SPD via Allison Co, ABS-CBN News</span></span></span></div><div><br/></div><p>MANILA — Two drug operations in Makati City and Taguig City this week yielded over P843,000 worth of suspected shabu. </p><p>The Southern Police District on Tuesday arrested two high-value individuals and seized 100 grams of suspected shabu worth P680,000 in Barangay Western Bicutan, Taguig.</p><p>During the entrapment operation, an SPD officer posed as a buyer and successfully completed a transaction with a 35-year-old suspect, leading to the recovery of 50 grams. </p><p>This also resulted in the arrest of a 25-year-old suspect, from whom another 50 grams of the same substance was confiscated.</p><p>The two suspects were already brought to the Districy Drug Enforcement Unit of SPD for proper documentation. </p><p>In Makati City, the Makati Police arrested on Thursday a 46-year-old man and seized suspected shabu valued at P163,200 from his residence in Barangay Singkamas.</p><div><br/></div><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:375px;display:block" width="375"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1774582736968viber_image_2026-03-27_10-18-07.jpg" style="width:375px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="375"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">Around P163,000-worth of shabu was seized in this Makati drug ops. Courtesy: SPD</span></span></span></div><div><br/></div><p>The operation was conducted after the Regional Trial Court in Makati issued a search warrant. </p><p>Authorities recovered a black sling bag containing 19 sealed plastic sachets of a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, with a total weight of 24 grams.</p><p>The suspect is now in the custody of the Makati City Police Station.</p><p>All arrested individuals will face charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.</p><div><br/></div><div><br/></div><div><br/></div><div><br/></div><p>.</p>
