Syempre, alam ko na maraming nagtatrabaho dito. Mainit, magtatanggal talaga ng t-shirt. Ganado mga bata natin kaya sabi ko, easy muna. Dala ‘yan ng mga pulis na gusto talagang i-push ‘yung mga patakaran namin,” he said.</p><p>Remulla clarified that exemptions would be provided under the local ordinance penalizing people who go shirtless in public spaces, noting that workers are allowed to remove their shirts while on the job.</p><p>“Basta nagtatrabaho, pwede. Pero ‘yung mga tambay, naglalakad na walang t-shirt, bawal ‘yun. Lahat ng eskinita. Public naman ‘to, hindi naman private ‘to e,” he said.</p><div><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/video.php?height=314&amp;href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Freel%2F4393227540962302%2F&amp;show_text=false&amp;width=560&amp;t=0" width="560" height="314" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span>The DILG chief reimbursed the P500 fine paid by the barangay for Lanquino and also extended financial assistance to help the family finish repairs on their home.</div><p>“Nagpapasalamat kami kasi napansin kami ni Sec doon sa mga hinaing namin. Dapat na mairebisa talaga ‘yung batas na ‘yun. Kahit maliit lang kami, binabaan niya kami,” said Norietta Lanquino, wife of Jhony. </p><p>In a separate interview, Remulla emphasized the importance of humility among public officials.</p><p>“What we lack is accountability para sa public officials. Kung nagkakamali, walang gustong umamin. Nakita ko naman mali talaga ako, minabuti ko nang pumunta rito para humingi ng pasensya,” he said.</p><p>“People have to take accountability for their actions. If they are wrong, there&#x27;s nothing wrong with saying sorry. Anthony Aberin said authorities observed improvements since stricter enforcement began across Metro Manila.</p><p>“Ramdam natin because bumababa ‘yung focus crimes natin kasi palaging umiikot ‘yung ating kapulisan and at the same time kasama ‘yung barangay,” Aberin said.</p><p>He added that police officers were instructed to exercise compassion and common sense in enforcing ordinances while ensuring human rights and proper operational procedures are observed.</p><div><br style="caret-color:rgb(0, 0, 0);color:rgb(0, 0, 0)"/></div><div><br/></div><div><br/></div>
