Gerville Luistro said in a DZMM interview.Remulla is expected to testify and present copies of the <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/4/6/house-panel-subpoenas-remulla-for-sara-duterte-salns-1313">Vice-President’s SALNs</a> after receiving a subpoena for Duterte&#x27;s SALN for the years 2022 to 2025, 2007 to 2013, and 2016 to 2022.Trillanes, meanwhile, is expected to talk and present documents on his allegations that the Vice President has unexplained wealth. The ex-senator has repeatedly accused Duterte and her father, former president Rodrigo Duterte, of <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/halalan2016/focus/04/27/16/trillanes-duterte-a-fraud-didnt-declare-p211m-in-saln">keeping hidden wealth</a>, adding that Overall Deputy Ombudsman <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/09/27/17/ombudsman-investigates-duterte-familys-wealth">Melchor Carandang</a> was suspended and <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/01/29/18/palace-files-admin-raps-vs-deputy-ombudsman">sued</a> for supposedly releasing Duterte&#x27;s bank documents from the Anti-Money Laundering Council.“I understand that the subpoena issued to Senator Trillanes is ad testificandum for his presence and duces tecum to produce whatever documents he has,” Luistro said.The justice panel chief said the AMLC has also been invited to the April 22 hearing to produce reports on possible “covert transactions and suspicious transactions of the vice president and her husband.”The Securities and Exchange Commission was also issued a subpoena to present general info sheets and audited  financial statements of declared businesses of Vice President and her husband, Manases Carpio.Finally, the Bureau of Internal Revenue is expected to report on the income tax returns of Duterte and Carpio.“Kung ma-o-observe niyo, lahat ng kanilang document has relevance to the allegations on unexplained wealth and nondisclosure of the SALN, which will be the focus of our clarificatory hearing on Wednesday,” she said.Luistro said the clarificatory hearing will test if the allegations in the impeachment complaints and all attached evidence constitute probable cause, which will justify proceeding to trial. Other relevant evidence such as ITRs not attached to the complaints will be used in determining probable cause.“The justice committee actually has the power to compel the production of these documents. Kahit ayaw ng concerned impeachable official, may kapangyarihan ang justice committee na i-compel by way of compulsory process, by way of subpoena duces tecum the production of documents like SALN, ITR, the AMLC report, the audited financial statements - documents which we expect to be presented this coming Wednesday,” she said.
