MANILA — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Wednesday denied that his administration was behind the firing of shots and chaos linked to an alleged attempt to arrest Sen. Ronald Dela Rosa.All uniformed and armed personnel seen entering the Senate building were military and police detachments assigned to the legislative, the Commander-in-Chief said in a recorded video statement uploaded hours after gunfire disturbed the complex where Dela Rosa has been seeking refuge to evade an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court (ICC).<div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/5/13/senate-on-lockdown-osaa-says-it-will-arrest-someone-1953">READ: Shots heard as Senate on lockdown for &#x27;someone&#x27;s&#x27; arrest</a></div>&quot;Lahat ng nakikita niyong mga nakauniporme or armado ay taga doon.
