MANILA — It was not a convoy.Pasay City Police chief Colonel Joselito De Sesto confirmed to ABS-CBN News that he was the passenger of the white police mobile van seen exiting the Senate of the Philippines grounds past 3:00 a.m. on May 14.He clarified that his vehicle simply exited at the same time as a black van, and that he did not notice who was inside it.&quot;Nataon lang kasi sa roll up [exit],&quot; De Sesto said in a message to ABS-CBN News.He also explained that upon leaving the Senate premises, he turned right toward the World Trade Center Metro Manila, while the black van turned left.&quot;Hindi [convoy] kasi kumaliwa sila [van] kami ay nag-right turn papunta ng World Trade Center,&quot; De Sesto said in a message with ABS-CBN News.De Sesto stressed that he was not part of any convoy, contrary to claims circulating on social media, following the departure of Senator Ronald dela Rosa from the Senate premises.Sources from the Senate said Dela Rosa left  at around 2:30 a.m.De Sesto added that he was at the Senate to check on the situation in the area following the shooting incident on the night of May 13.
