President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. leads the “Bawat Barangay Makikinabang” event at the General Trias Sports Park on May 4, 2026. The President met with 165 Bagong Pilipinas Barangay Scholars during their orientation where he highlighted the importance of education, saying, “Kapag maganda ang naging edukasyon mo… hindi na makukuha ‘yan sa inyo.”
The President also witnessed the distribution of 10-kilogram rice packs to 2,000 beneficiaries—1,000 each from Brgy. San Francisco and Brgy. Santiago—and led the turnover of ₱6.6 million in financial assistance to 33 barangays under the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF) and the Socio-Civic Projects Fund (SCPF).

Marcos Jr. leads the “Bawat Barangay Makikinabang” event at the General Trias Sports Park on May 4, 2026. <em>Yummie Dingding, PPA Pool</em></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s net worth rose to P475.93 million in 2025 or about 22 percent higher than his declared wealth in 2024, pulling the current fair market value of his assets to P1.457 billion, according to his latest Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN).</p><p>Under SALN rules, the net worth of a government official is based on the acquisition cost of his or her assets, but some officials attach appraisal reports to show the current value of their long-term investments and real estate properties, which have appreciated over the years.</p><p>Marcos’s wealth has been steadily climbing since he ascended to the Philippines’ highest-elected post in 2022, with the country’s 17th President declaring a net worth of P371.49 million in 2022, P381.44 million in 2023, and P389.35 million in 2024.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/10/24/-what-is-in-a-saln-and-how-is-it-used-to-fight-corruption-1208">What is in a SALN, and how is it used to fight corruption?</a></div><div><br/></div><div><strong>CASH AND INVESTMENTS</strong></div><p>The P86.57-million hike in the President&#x27;s net worth in 2025 is mainly attributed to a 155 percent increase in his cash and bank deposits as Marcos declared that he has P98.70 million in 2025, which is P60 million more than his P38.70 million in 2024.</p><p>The President&#x27;s investments by the end of last year also improved, increasing by 33 percent, from P134.19 million in 2024 to P178.6 million in 2025.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>JEWELRY</strong></div><p>Some P3.60 million worth of jewelry was also added to Marcos&#x27; collection in 2025, while the declared cost of his paintings and vehicles remained the same at P12.79 million and P38.85 million, respectively.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>PAINTINGS</strong></div><p>The President currently listed 138 pieces of art in his collection, including an 1883 Jose Rizal artwork that was &quot;gifted&quot; to him in April 1993 and appraised at P3 million as of December 2025.</p><p>The most expensive painting in Marcos&#x27; collection is a 1928 Fernando Amorsolo piece, which he bought in March 2022 at P3.04 million but has an appraised value of P8 million as of December 2025.</p><p>Marcos has also collected over a dozen Ben Cabrera pieces that have a total appraised value of P11.65 million as of December 2025, and has also bought an artwork from socialite artist Rocio Zobel, the youngest daughter of the Chief Executive&#x27;s long-time friend Iñigo Zobel.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>VEHICLES</strong></div><p>Marcos&#x27;s most expensive vehicle is a 2023 Mercedes Benz Maybach 8680, which he acquired at P10.5 million in April 2023, and a 2023 GMC Yukon Denali XL, which he  bought for P9.5 million in August 2022 or a month after he ascended to the presidency.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>REAL ESTATE</strong></div><p>Marcos&#x27;s cost of real properties decreased by P21.43 million, from P142.02 million in 2024 to P120.59 million in 2025. </p><p>The decrease corresponds to a residential property in Laguna, which he declared in 2024 but not in 2025.
