Ronald Dela Rosa in Parañaque, Bulacan and Pampanga, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group said. </p><p>It said tracker teams from the CIDG and National Bureau of Investigation were deployed to serve the International Criminal Court arrest warrant on Dela Rosa.</p><p>In Angeles City, Pampanga, authorities swooped in on a house in Barangay Balibago early Wednesday morning, a community leader also confirmed to ABS-CBN News.</p><div><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/video.php?height=314&amp;href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Freel%2F1310788667186979%2F&amp;show_text=false&amp;width=560&amp;t=0" width="560" height="314" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span></div><p>Barangay Balibago chairman Joseph Ponce said village officials were coordinated with around 5:30 a.m. prior to the entry of law enforcement agents into a subdivision unit in Angeles City reportedly owned by Virgilio “Abdul Lakay” Aribon Cariño, uncle of Sen. Robin Padilla and currently working as a consultant in the Senate.</p><p>According to Ponce, the operation was also tied to the search for a pickup vehicle that was allegedly used as a backup car and was seen trailing Dela Rosa when he left the Senate premises.</p><p>“Pinapaniwalaan na baka nandoon si Senator Bato Dela Rosa. At the same time, may hinahanap daw po silang sasakyan na pickup na pagmamay-ari din [ng tiyo] na na-trace po nila nasa loob ng Subdivision Balibago,” Ponce said.</p><div><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/video.php?height=315&amp;href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Freel%2F4042162872747407%2F&amp;show_text=false&amp;width=560&amp;t=0" width="560" height="315" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span>However, authorities did not find Dela Rosa nor the vehicle they were reportedly tracking during the operation.</div><p>“Wala, wala pong nakita na hinahanap nilang si Senator Bato... Unang-una po ay pinapaupa yung bahay na yun sa pagkakaalam ko so negative. Hindi rin po nakita si sir Lakay Cariño doon,&quot; said Ponce.</p><p>Ponce added that the said relative of Padilla was not present during the operation and had reportedly not been seen in the area in recent days.</p><p>“Last week, dapat magpasok na siya as Presidente ng Senior Citizen ng Barangay Balibago. Hindi pa siya nagpakita since last week,” he said.</p><div><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FabscbnNEWS%2Fposts%2Fpfbid0y1uGDohfxnBA7UEwCpYYCYqwxdBBJTap8FcXwrDrVERTPQMGyzjP5habuBiQn2nTl&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=500" width="500" height="250" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span><br/></div><p>The CIDG earlier confirmed that a vehicle allegedly trailed Padilla’s car and served as a backup during their departure from the Senate on May 14.</p><p>Authorities are set to refer a complaint for alleged violation of obstruction of justice against Padilla and several other individuals accused of helping Dela Rosa evade law enforcement.</p><p>The DOJ last week tasked the PNP and NBI to &quot;effect the arrest” of Dela Rosa who is wanted by the International Criminal Court over his role as former national police chief and enforcer of former President Rodrigo Duterte&#x27;s deadly drug war.</p><p>Dela Rosa went into hiding in November 2025 after receiving word that the ICC had issued an arrest warrant against him. He reemerged at the Senate on May 11 to register a crucial vote to install Sen.
