Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said the move underscores the vital role of citizens in crime prevention and law enforcement.</p><p>“Sa simpleng pagbabahagi ng impormasyon, nakatulong kayo sa pag-iwas sa kapahamakan, sa pagprotekta ng buhay, at sa pagpapatibay ng ating kampanya laban sa krimen,” Nartatez said.</p><p>“Ito ay malinaw na patunay na ang bawat mamamayan ay may mahalagang papel sa pagpapanatili ng kapayapaan,” he added. </p><p>He also clarified that the incentives were meant as recognition of public cooperation and not merely the disbursement of funds.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>SEARCH FOR ATONG ANG, ZALDY CO</strong></div><div><br/></div><p>Meanwhile, the PNP renewed its call for public assistance in locating other high-profile fugitives, including former lawmaker Zaldy Co and businessman Atong Ang.</p><p>The bounty for Ang, who is considered the most wanted personality, has reached P20 million, as earlier announced by the Department of the Interior and Local Government.</p><p>“We still have a bunch of wanted person from very high profile. So kung meron pa kayong nalalaman, lahat ng mga kaibigan natin, lahat ng mga kasama natin sa community, meron pa mga wanted person lalong lalo natin si Atong Ang,” Nartatez said.</p><p>He added that police operations against the personalities remain ongoing, with multiple teams working under a coordinated plan.</p><p>“Meron ‘yang corresponding operational plan. And our teams, not only team, are working on it. Soon, mahuhuli din natin sila.”</p><div><br/></div><p>.</p>
