Martijn Beekman, AFP/File</div>MANILA -- Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla on Wednesday said authorities has yet to receive any official communication regarding the alleged issuance of arrest warrants by the International Criminal Court (ICC) against Senator Christopher &quot;Bong&quot; Go and two former police officers.The statement came after Davao City Representative Paolo &quot;Pulong&quot; Duterte claimed on social media that a &quot;highly reliable source&quot; had informed him that the ICC had already issued warrants against the senator and two former law enforcers.<div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/5/23/nbi-ready-for-more-icc-warrants-says-dela-rosa-still-in-ph-1306">NBI ready for more ICC warrants, says Dela Rosa still in PH</a></div>&quot;A highly reliable source informed me that ICC arrest warrants against Senator Bong Go and two former police officers have already been issued,&quot; the Davao City solon and brother of Vice President Sara Duterte said in a social media post.Duterte also questioned what he described as the administration&#x27;s alleged use of the ICC against political opponents.&quot;Wala na ba talagang katapusan ang administrasyong ito sa paggamit ng ICC bilang political weapon laban sa kanilang mga kalaban?&quot; he said.&quot;Wala na ba talaga kayong awa o hiya sa pinag gagawa ninyu? Huwag gamitin ang mga ahensya ng gobyerno sa pag supil at pagpapa tahimik sa mga kalaban sa pulitika para lang mapagtakpan ang mas malaking issue ng pagnanakaw sa kaban ng bayan,&quot; he added.However, Remulla said no formal notice has been received by Philippine authorities.&quot;We have no official communication to that effect,&quot; he said in a text message. &quot;Just talked to SoJ, neither of us have received any formal notice,&quot; he added, referring to Justice Secretary Fredderick Vida.The Philippine National Police (PNP) likewise said it has not received any official communication or documentation regarding the alleged ICC warrants.In a separate statement, the PNP Public Information Office OIC PCol. Allen Rae Co stressed that it remains committed to upholding the rule of law and would act only on official orders transmitted through proper legal channels.&quot;What we can say with certainty is that the PNP has always been and will remain an institution that respects and upholds the rule of law,&quot; Co said.The PNP added that if warrants are issued by a competent authority and properly transmitted, it would implement them in accordance with the law and established procedures.&quot;We will not get ahead of the process, but we will never shy away from our duty,&quot; the statement read.The ICC has been investigating alleged crimes against humanity linked to the Duterte administration&#x27;s anti-drug campaign. An ICC warrant is out against Sen. Ronald &quot;Bato&quot; dela Rosa over his involvement in the bloody war on drugs of the Duterte administration.
