Maria Tan, ABS-CBN News</div>MANILA — Palace Press Officer Claire Castro only “noted” the accomplishment report of Vice President Sara Duterte, released two weeks before the impeachment trial commences.Duterte recently released the numbers of the beneficiaries her office has helped, including those who received medical assistance up to the number of trees they have planted.<div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/6/22/vp-duterte-issues-accomplishment-report-amid-systematic-attacks-1317">READ: VP Duterte issues accomplishment report amid &#x27;systematic attacks&#x27;</a></div>The second-in-command noted in her report that it has become challenging for her to serve because of allegedly baseless criticisms and systematic attacks.Castro on Tuesday pointed out that accomplishment should go beyond mere numbers.&quot;Siguro talagang challenging sa kanya ang mga ganitong klaseng report kasi ang pagre-report sa taumbayan ay hindi naman nakukuha sa numero lamang,&quot; Castro said.The press officer also noted that there are some “irregularities” in the Vice President&#x27;s accomplishments.&quot;Tandaan natin, ang kanyang mga pagre-report, pinupuna na noon pa ng COA, ng Commission on Audit katulad nitong P3.4M patungkol sa Mag Negosyo Ta ‘Day. Okay, ito iyong patungkol sa P4,400 plus entrepreneurs supported,&quot; Castro said.&quot;Pinuna ito ng COA at sinasabi na ito ay walang mga feasibility studies, walang evaluation ng DTI ng Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation, walang written agreement prepared by the OVP with the PDIC and DTI,&quot; she added.Castro then blasted other programs of the Vice President, saying the projects have not been implemented smoothly.&quot;Mga bagay na dapat na isinasagawa otherwise ikaw talaga ay mapa-flag ng COA at mayroon pa pong mga na-flag na mga tungkol sa distribution ng mga ayuda, kulang-kulang ang listahan ng mga rice beneficiaries, walang mga situational reports or mission orders na magsu-support sa pamimigay ng mga ayuda,&quot; she said.Castro pointed out that previous projects of the Vice President while she was still at the helm of the Department of Education had irregularities as well.&quot;So, tingin natin hindi po natatapos ang pagri-report sa numero lamang na nakikita natin ngayon kundi dapat ito ay mabigyan ng basehan kung totoo bang ito ay naipamigay dahil marami na pong naibalita noon na may mga ghost students, ghost vouchers, ghost school materials, ghost food packs,&quot; Castro said.&quot;So, sabi nga natin, dapat makumpleto ang report hindi lamang sa numero kaya it would be very challenging for the Vice President,&quot; she ended.
