Maria Tan, ABS-CBN News</span></span></span></div><p>MANILA — The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) said Wednesday it would file complaints against former lawmaker Mike Defensor in relation to the alleged human trafficking operations linked to a KTV bar in Pasig. </p><p>According to the NBI, the building&#x27;s floor plan revealed violations of the National Building Code.</p><p>Defensor was allegedly aware of and consented to structural modifications that facilitated human trafficking activities, including the installation of concealed doors, hidden stairways, and private rooms.</p><p>The NBI in April <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/4/24/nbi-files-trafficking-raps-vs-mike-defensor-s-wife-son-1344">filed complaints against Defensor’s wife and child</a>, who were listed as owners in the articles of incorporation of the club recently raided by the agency.</p><p>Julie Defensor, the former congressman&#x27;s wife, has denied the allegations. </p><p>&quot;We have absolutely no connection to the targeted establishment or its operations,&quot; she said, adding attempts to link the Defensors to the raid are &quot;a deliberate, dangerous and desperate lie.&quot;</p><div><em>More details to follow. </em></div><div><em><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/NeGenn1A92s?&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span></em><br/></div><div><br style="caret-color:rgb(0, 0, 0);color:rgb(0, 0, 0)"/></div>
