Agatha Gregorio, ABS-CBN News</div>MANILA — Lawmakers of the Makabayan bloc at the House filed on Thursday a resolution for an inquiry into alleged irregularities in P4.44 billion in flood-control projects along the Davao and Matina rivers that were awarded between 2019 and 2022.Davao City 1st District Rep. Paolo Duterte has dismissed the allegations as politically motivated and has said the projects exist and are working. He has repeatedly said <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/9/9/paolo-duterte-claims-lawmakers-using-davao-city-p51-b-budget-as-diversion-1635">the city &quot;has nothing to hide&quot;.</a>ACT Teachers Party-List Rep.
