MANILA (UPDATED)— An aircraft crashed in Maguindanao Del Sur on Thursday, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said.

According to the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office of Ampatuan, Maguindanao del Sur, the aircraft crashed in a field in Barangay Malatimon in the same town part 2 p.m. Thursday.

MDRRMO Officer Rea Martin also confirmed four died in the incident.
