MANILA -- The Land Transportation Office said it has suspended the license of the minibus driver who figured in a road accident in Baguio City that left 13 people injured on Saturday.

LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor D. Mendoza II said the license of the driver of the minibus was preventively suspended for 90 days pending the result of the investigation.

Based on the initial report obtained by the LTO, the minibus hit a motorcycle and a concrete post at the Crystal Cave at Bekekeng Central in Baguio City on May 10. The incident inflicted injuries to the passengers and the motorcycle rider.

The driver was asked to explain in writing why he should not be held liable for reckless driving. He was also ordered to explain why his driver’s license should not be revoked.
