Nakansela ang flight ni Bayan Patroller Janice Ballera mula Iloilo papuntang Cebu noong Martes ng gabi, Mayo 13, 2025, dahil umabot na sa paliparan ng Iloilo City ang ashfall mula sa pagsabog ng Bulkang Kanlaon sa nasabing araw.Ayon sa advisory ng Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines Area IV, kinansela ang 11 flights mula Iloilo City at 16 flights mula Bacolod City noong Mayo 13 dahil sa &quot;ashfall and safety risks to aircraft operations.&quot;Sa tala ng Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), umabot sa 4.5 kilometro ang inabot na taas ng pagsabog habang ang direksyon nito ay pa timog-kanluran kaya umabot ito sa isla ng Guimaras hanggang Iloilo City.Sa ibinahaging drone shots, makikitang binalot din ng ashfall ang bayan ng Valladolid na gitnang bayan ng La Carlota City at Bago City.Nagbahagi rin ng bidyo si Bayan Patroller Janice ng ilang eksena sa paliparan ng Iloilo nang ianunsyong kanselado na ang kanilang byahe.Aniya, kinailangan niyang makituloy sa bahay ng kaibigan na malapit sa paliparan dahil malayo pa ang kanyang inuuwian sa Capiz.

Umabot sa 27 flights ang nakansela dahil sa nangyaring pagbuhos ng ashfall.
