Taal Volcano generates a minor phreatic explosion on Thursday, July 17, 2025, releasing steam and volcanic gases from its main crater. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) reminds the public to avoid entering the Taal Volcano Island Permanent Danger Zone.

under Taal Volcano, the second most active in the country. </p><p>&quot;Kanina lang labas kami ng advisory... &#x27;yung real-time seismic amplitude measurement (RSAM), yung sukat ng lakas ng lindol sa ilalim ng bulkan,&quot;
