<p>LIPA CITY, Batangas — Authorities arrested four men after they broke into and robbed a non-operating hotel in Barangay Balintawak, Lipa City, Batangas on Sunday morning. </p><p>According to a report from the Lipa City Police Station, a security guard of the establishment was conducting a roving patrol when he noticed that one of the windows had been covered with plywood.</p><p>The security guard later spotted a group of men with backpacks inside the establishment.</p><p>The guard immediately called barangay tanod and police, which resulted in the arrest of the suspects, all of whom are residents of San Pedro City, Laguna.</p><p>Authorities discovered that the suspects had stolen electrical wires from the hotel, which is owned by a bank.</p><p>A firearm and ammunition were also recovered from the suspects, along with several plastic sachets containing suspected shabu.</p><p>The suspects are facing charges of robbery, violation of Republic Act 10591, and violation of Republic Act 9165.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/1/12/7-arestado-sa-quezon-city-sa-serye-ng-robbery-holdup-1907">7 arestado sa Quezon City sa serye ng robbery-holdup</a></div><div><br/></div><div><strong>RELATED VIDEO:</strong></div><div style="text-align:center"><iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/LhiUS1pg42g?si=PSe7ZopvzlwNEs_y" title="YouTube video player" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div>
