<div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:960px;display:block" width="960"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1773730172692Screenshot 2026-03-17 at 2.40.42 PM.jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">Dizon meets with Robredo again in Naga, shuns 2028 poll talks. <em>Screenshot from video/ABS-CBN News</em></span></span></span></div><div><br/></div><p>Public Works Secretary Vince Dizon on Tuesday <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/2/19/marcos-robredo-to-meet-in-naga-palace-1408">again met</a> with Mayor Leni Robredo in Naga City where he rejected talks on the 2028 elections.</p><p>Photos of tarpaulins with faces of Dizon and Robredo circulated on social media in recent days, but the Cabinet official told journalists to just ignore those.</p><p>&quot;Puwede ba nagtatrabaho lang kami dito, &#x27;wag n&#x27;yo nang papansinin yung mga ganyan,&quot; he said.</p><p>Dizon said he was told by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to visit local governments and personally check their problems.</p><p>&quot;In fact, kailangan talangang makatrabaho natin ang mga mayors kasi mayors ang may alam ng problema, yung nasyunal madalas malayo kami sa totoong problema,&quot; he said. </p><p>Dizon and Robredo discussed the rehabilitation of Naga roads and sidewalks, which the mayor wanted to be more conducive to walking amid the rising oil prices.
