(UPDATED) Kinumpirma ni Police Regional Office Bangsamoro Autonomous Region spokesperson P/Cpt. Steffi Salanguit nitong Sabado na limang pulis ang nasawi sa nangyaring ambush sa Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao del Sur.Naganap ang insidente alas 9:10 ngayong Sabado ng gabi, March 28 sa Barangay Mother Poblacion.Ang mga nasawi ay miyembro ng 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company ng Maguindanao del Sur Police Provincial Office.Ayon sa awtoridad, pabalik na sa kanilang detachment sa Camp Datu Akilan, Maguindanao Del Sur Police Provincial ang mga pulis mula sa pagpapatrolyo sa Shariff Aguak proper nang mangyari ang ambush.Tinuligsa ni Bangsamoro Government  Chief Minister Abdulraof Macacua ang nangyaring pananambang.&quot;We have directed the concerned ministries to immediately undertake a thorough investigation, in close coordination with law enforcement agencies, to ensure that the perpetrators of this heinous act are swiftly identified and held accountable to the full extent of the law,&quot; aniya, sa isang pahayag.&quot;We extend our deepest sympathies and prayers to the families of the fallen personnel.
