<div><br id="isPasted"/></div><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:960px;display:block" width="960"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/17828821380191782882135683.png" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left"></span></span></span></div><p>The former Vice Mayor of Abuyog, Leyte and his son were found dead Tuesday morning about 3 days after their alleged kidnapping, authorities have confirmed. PRO 8 via Ronilo Dagos</p><div><br/></div><div><br/></div><p>MANILA — Three suspects in the abduction and killing of a former vice mayor of Abuyog, Leyte and his son have surrendered to authorities, police said Wednesday. </p><p>One of the suspects had borrowed money from former Vice Mayor James Bohol, who was also the suspect’s business partner, the police Anti-Kidnapping Group said. </p><p>It said investigators were still looking into the motive behind the killing. </p><p>Bohol and his son Carlo James “Jimbo” Bohol were found lifeless in a grassy area in Silago, Southern Leyte, days after they were reportedly abducted by armed men at their warehouse office in Mayorga, Leyte on June 27, Saturday.</p><p>The alleged getaway vehicle of the suspects was discovered in Barangay Tingib, Basey, Samar, while another vehicle linked to the crime was found in Barangay Balubal, Sariaya, Quezon and is now under forensic and technical examination.</p><div><em>More details to follow. </em></div>
