<p>TAIPEI — Acer unveiled a fresh batch of Aspire AI hardware featuring Intel&#x27;s latest Panther Lake chips ahead of the opening of one of the world&#x27;s biggest tech expos. </p><p>Days before the formal opening of Computex in Taipei this year, Acer gave tech journalists a sneak peek at its headliners for the expanded Windows 11 lineup.</p><p>These include two new laptops—the premium Aspire X 16 AI and the massive Aspire 18 AI—alongside a sleek refresh for its all-in-one desktop family. While the Aspire series is generally seen as the more balanced and budget-friendly lineup of Acer, when compared to its more premium Swift lineup, the script seems to have gotten rewritten, as these Aspire laptops feature very premium specs. </p><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:960px;display:block" width="960"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1780200812841acer aspire x 16 edit.jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">Acer Aspite X 16 AI. <em>Arthur Fuentes, ABS-CBN News</em></span></span></span></div><p>The standout of the bunch is the Aspire X 16 AI. Sneaking high-end performance into a thin-and-light 1.6 kg aluminum chassis, it can be configured with up to Intel’s latest Core Ultra X9 processor, boasting a massive 180 platform TOPS for AI workloads. Yes this is a Panther Lake laptop, and the X designates the elite tier of Intel&#x27;s mobile chips that feature a massive, upgraded 12-core integrated Arc GPU.</p><p>Note: Many tech reviewers have said that the X9 and X7 chips are powerful enough to run AAA games, though we ourselves have yet to test this.</p><p>It pairs that processing power with a gorgeous 16-inch 3K OLED display running at 120Hz. Aimed at creators and home users who want a giant canvas, it runs on Intel Core Ultra Series 3 chips, delivering up to 100 platform TOPS.  </p><div><strong>RYZEN ON THE DESKTOP</strong></div><p>For the home office, Acer also refreshed its Aspire C24 and C27 All-in-Ones. The desktop units feature a new adjustable &quot;ErgoStand&quot; and let buyers choose their own adventure: Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, or AMD’s new &quot;Zen 5&quot;-based Ryzen AI 400 Series chips paired with Radeon 880M graphics.  </p><p>Every device in the new lineup gains access to native Windows Copilot+ tricks like &quot;Click-to-Do,&quot; as well as Acer’s own software suite featuring a localized AI Image Generator. Acer hasn&#x27;t released official pricing or exact release dates yet, noting that configurations and availability will vary by region.</p><p>There is no word either on when or if these devices will reach the Philippines. </p>
